Calé Fragranze d’Autore: a sensorial journey between hearing and sense of smell
“Smelling a fragrance without preconceptions can bring you to see images, to recall sounds, emotions, memories, but also colors, tactile perceptions that become extremely vivid and powerful”.
Composer Philip Abussi of Mokamusic was asked to record the sensations and the images that each fragrance evoked into him, without knowing anything about its name and story.
Only afterwards Silvio Levi told Philip Abussi the initial inspiration of the story and the artist realized that he had understood the hidden message of the fragrance. So the desire to take part in this project was born: translating the olfactory stories into original music tracks.
Some further adjustment brought Silvio Levi to exclaim: “This is my story!”.
The perfume language, matched with the music one, communicates emotions that touch the soul. The simultaneous hearing and smelling gives a great impact to the story that will be built into the listener’s mind. It is surprising to discover how this brings us inside every single story, how we can take part in it.
A cooperation of excellence that gives value to the smell perception through sensorial influences and invites the listener to live a new perfume dimension which involves and moves deeply.
